Thanks! I was mostly happy with how that turned out, but after my first attempt to wire it all up, I realized that I had left the code on the chip that was meant for the original Nintendo branded nun-chuck. The third party one that I was modifying had noticeably different tolerances on the joystick, so it had different code. I think I ended up butchering some pieces of header or an IC socket in order to connect my programmer to it again.

Ya, I was impressed by the Free Press coverage. Very positive outlook and only minor errors.

As for the image, I thought the selected image looked good and better represented SkullSpace than a picture of a bunch of guys standing in the corner, but just for you I have added another image!

On the plus side, this picture is less 'Guys standing around tapping a speaker" and more "Hmm... A flat line...". I like it. The FreeP was also quite nice in it's coverage.

Now why didn't you post the picture that you were in?

I was at WEC and I know that our hybrid car has some carbon fibre parts (drive shaft, wings, seat, wheel, etc.). Our schools formula team also has a carbon monocoque. Any of that sound familiar? If so, send me a message through the "contact me" link at the top of the page.

I don't suppose you might know the engineering students who went to WEC in saskatoon with a carbon fibre race car project do you? I'm trying to get in contact with them. If you could help me out I would very much appreciate it.
Thank you

Ya, some people were saying it felt a little cult-like. Regardless of the strangeness of the ceremony, the idea behind it is sound and in order to get the ring, the symbol of that idea, the ceremony must be undertaken.

Lots of people were there working on code, a few guys at the back were building file servers, the guys at the front were discussing how SkullSpace should run, there was a "lock picking village," and there was a lengthy discussion on bacon. It was all around a pretty good time.

I will try not to rant on for too much longer on this, but the fact that the App Store is appearing as an OS update is somewhat strange. Maybe they have a legitimate reason for this, but I would be more comfortable with it if it were an separate install like iTunes.

Yes, it will be a gradual thing and hopefully they support proper, user repositories. I have been wanting to move 100% to Linux instead of the 20% or so that I am at right now, so this is just a good excuse for me to make the change and rant about the App Store. I do hope that Apple improves. They have a good following and really have a chance to make things better for users.
